Any images or art work placed in the ad must be linked not embedded or copied in the document. Please send a copy of the image on the disk or attach it to an email message with the Ad file. It will also be necessary for you to send us the fonts used.

1. If you have logos or graphics containing text convert the text into outlines or paths, or rasterize the type, before importing them into your layout program. If you don't know what this means call us and we will be glad to help you.
2. Size images that are used in the document as close to the actual printed size as possible - an image that will be placed or linked and printed through Page Maker at 2 inches square should be saved in Photoshop at 2 inches square. If an image is rotated or flipped in the layout, do the rotation in the graphics program rather than in the layout program. If you don't understand how to do this call us and we will be glad to help you.
3. Resolution is also important - for our purposes, any image should be at least 200 DPI. We cannot use graphics intended for web use, which are a standard 72 DPI. That means don't drag or copy any image from a web page and expect it to print clearly.
4. Save images as either TIFF or EPS formats. JPEG and GIF formats are intended for web use, and involve compression that will make the printed results unsatisfactory Illustrator files can be saved & sent as AI files, and PhotoShop files can be saved & sent as PSD files.

PDF document
This is only acceptable if the file is in the correct dimensions and is ready for print. PDF documents are NOT able to be changed, and if a change is needed, it must be sent back to the you for to make any changes.
